What you’ll do
- Tech Support & Troubleshooting – Be the first line of defense when things break, working with users to resolve issues quickly and escalate when necessary.
- Server & Network Management – Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows & Linux servers. Help keep networks fast and secure.
- Backup & Recovery – Implement and manage backup solutions to keep data safe. Assist in disaster recovery efforts when needed.
- Virtualization & Cloud Support – Assist with virtual environments and optimize performance under the guidance of senior administrators.
- Security & Compliance – Configure security measures like firewalls and VPNs, support vulnerability assessments, and help keep IT systems locked down and protected.
- Documentation & Best Practices – Keep track of system configurations, create user guides, and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaboration & Growth – Work alongside cross-functional teams, contribute to IT projects, and keep up with the latest industry trends to level up your skills.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Education & Experience – A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, OR equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant IT role preferred.
- Server Administration – Basic experience with Windows and Linux servers, including deployments, routine maintenance, security patching, and troubleshooting common server issues.
- Networking Basics – Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting. Experience with basic network configuration and monitoring tools is a plus.
- Virtualization & Cloud – Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud-based services such as Azure or AWS is helpful.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery – Understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery procedures, and data protection best practices.
- Security Awareness – Basic knowledge of firewall configurations, endpoint security, and vulnerability assessments. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices is a big plus.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting – Ability to diagnose and resolve most IT issues with ease.
- Documentation & Process Management – Comfortable documenting system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Experience with ITIL best practices is a plus.
- Soft Skills & Teamwork – Strong communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
- Physical & On-Site Work – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, travel locally to client sites, and work in-office full-time with occasional after-hours work when needed.

Additional Information:
- This is an in-person position that primarily works out of our office in Lakewood, Colorado. This position may also require being onsite at various customer locations within the Denver area.
- This position requires use of a reliable personal vehicle for travel to / from customer locations (mileage reimbursed).
- Our professional dress code ranges between conservative business casual and business professional depending on the situation.
- This is a full-time position and typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, this position will participate in some after-hour and on-call activities.
